Yamaha DX100 Digital FM synthesizer from Japan 1986
An incredible fun little Japanese FM synthesizer from 1986. A cult techno synth that played a major role in the early and later days of techno music. The preset synth basses, organs, synth sounds and fx are used in many many classic techno/house etc. records. But take some time to program it and a world of new fresh arcane sound opens up.
The DX100 has a distinct mystic digital sound, full with magic artifacts and character…from desolate seaside harbor ambience to soulful twangy techno basses.
