CASIO CTK630 Early 1990s electronic keyboard
A Rather useful and cool homekeyboard from the early 1990s. It is a homekeyboard so pretty much nothing in here to edit your own sounds except some reverb sustain. Despite this it has some decent sounds: warm PCM samples that try to emulate real instruments and some nice synthetic sounds. You can layer 2 different sounds…I guess that is some sort of synthesis method ;p
What really shines in the CTK630 are the drum sounds. Short, punchy with a lo-fi bite. There is even a sort of TR808 kit in here that is alone worth having this instrument in the studio for.
The song ‘Casio CTK630 Homekeyboard’ is made entirely on this machine all the drums and synths come from this instrument, except for some external effects and the vocals:
